Sushi Trip

Woohoo...Finally, it's here. I've been waiting for today for a very long time...until my neck also "long" de. LoL! My colleagues and I had plan this trip a month ago. We meet up at the office around 10am and then started our journey around 10.30am. Unfortunately, it was raining cats and dogs for the whole day. We drove three cars there. There were 15 of us altogether. It rain even heavier when we reached the ASEAN Bridge. Can't even managed to see the road clearly. Honestly, I was a bit worried because the bridge was so "curve" and it rained so heavily. You don't know what might happen. *Touch wood* To my surprise, once we crossed the bridge, the rain becomes very small. It's like we have gone to another world. Hahaha... Well, it's true that we're in another place,i.e, KB---Kuala Belait, Brunei. *Wink*

After crossing the custom,we reached the sushi restaurant at 12pm sharp (exactly the time we book). Well done, Mr. Driver. Hehe. Without wasting much more time, we quickly make our order because we Starving~~~~ Hahaha.... We order a lot of dishes. It was a great one.


Sashimi





We finished our lunch at around 1.30pm. It was fantastic. After that, we went to Supa Save, not Super Save (Miri is Super Save). I wonder why they named it 'Supa'. Hahah... My boss recommended the Kebab that was selling in front of the entrance. Wow, it really is delicious. I have to admit that it is better than Miri. I bought 5. I also bought quite a lot of things from the Su..Pa..Save. haha.. Some of the things are cheaper than the one selling in Miri;like the Lay's brand keropok. It costs RM10.90 here. While in KB, it cost $4.00 (If you convert to RM, also cheaper ma). *Wink* At around 2.30pm, we started our journey back home. Overall, it was fun. I had a great time there. Wish to go there again. ;)

Buzzz...

Prank~~~ Oops, I spilled my water accidentally early morning. As a result, I was scolded by my aunt. T.T Haiz.. Beware today, I said to myself. A superstitious person I am. haha..

Wow, lots of things to do in office today. As busy as a bee. I received a lot of enquires. Apparently, my senior executive was on leave today. So, some of the question I have to figure it out myself which was good to me (can train my problem-solving skill). XD I love to keep myself busy. Don't like to waste time.



Well, one of my colleague treated my lunch today ( as sign of welcoming for me ). I've just started joining this new company middle of last month. I enjoy it so far. We had our lunch at Banana Leaf. The food was quite good. 1st time for me. I ordered nasi lemak kambing. The sambal was spicy. It was similar to the hindus banana leaf rice where the banana leaf was use to put rice and vege instead of plate. I like this kind of idea coz it's environment-friendly. After all, it was a not-so-bad-day for me. *Wink*

Glory is no more for Malaysia

Datuk Lee Chong Wei has tried his very best as well as Huang Choong Han and the double team. Datuk did very well in the 1st game. At first he was 6 or 7 points behind Lin Dan. Surprisingly, he managed to chase up. However, Lin Dan still win. Well, at least Chong Wei has shown his professionalism. I can see that he is under a lot of pressure. One of the most annoying things is the SPECTATORS. They kept shouting and playing with the drum. Can't they just sit queitly and watch! Haiz~~

This is the 1st time Datuk loses to Lin Dan in his own country. As the chinese saying goes: 君子报仇十年未了。 Lin Dan took off his shirt straightaway after he smack the winning point. Gambateh ba, Chong Wei. You're still Malaysians' apple of the eye. Choong Han too must be under a lot of pressure as the 1st two teams has been deceived. Malaysian hopes that there was miracle. Nevermind there's still chance. Never scare to failure as failure is the mother of success! Gambateh!

New Laptop

After waiting for about 3 weeks, I got my laptop finally. I bought HP brand which was recommended by my mum's friend's son, Tony Gor Gor who is a computer technician. I like my new laptop very much. It is a lot better than my previous one in spite of size, weight and speed. I went to take my laptop this morning at a shop called Computlink. The workers were nice specially the malay guy. He is cheerful and helpful. Haha.. To add credit to it ( buying the laptop ), I got a lot of free gifts, i.e, laptop case, mouse, cooler, headset, keyboard skin and notebook cable lock. The disadvantage of buying Dell (my previous notebook) is no Free Gift. *XOXO* And you need to order online. That's all for now. Ciao~~

Goodbye KL

I'm flying back to Miri tomorrow night. There's still like around 22 hours left. I'm exhausted. I hate packing especially when there are lots of things need to pack. Argh~~~ I hate aunty giving me those grumpy look. Ohw! I know I got a lot of things. I dislike people constantly nagging and reminding me about something. I will do it! I'm just thinking of a better way to pack them into the luggage. I wonder is this a 'signature' character of the Sim's Family. My second aunt also the same. Fed up with it. Whatever they said I just need to NOD my head and be PATIENT. I wonder this is how I train myself to be patient. Haha..





I love travelling but I hate packing. Give and take. That's the rule.

My 1st baked cake

It's a rainy day today. I love raining especially in the evening. This morning my ex-college friend come find me cos he wants me sign some document. We chat for around an hour plus.

Later in the noon, I decided to try to bake a cake instead of steaming. I never bake cake b4. Afer searching for the suitable recipe, I decided to make fruit cheese pound cake. It is better to start with an easier recipe for a first timer. Actually, the recipe was a Prune Cheese Pound Cake. But, there was not enough prunes so I decided to add in some cranberries and raisins. After mixing all the ingredients, finally it's time to bake. Tik..tok..tik...tok...there goes the sound of the oven. Dingggg~~~~ Finally, my cake is ready. To my surprise, it was a SUCCESS! To be honest, I think it is better than my steamed cake. I mean the appearance. The texture is same for both style. XD The surface of my steamed cake is always not that smooth and I can't figure the reason. Anyway, I'm so satisfied with my cake. :)

S.U.N.D.A.Y

It's Sunday again. Aunty accompanied Uncle to Kuala Terengganu for a business trip today. They left in dawn. Left my 2 cousins and me. So, I'm going to cook lunch. A simple lunch. Sunday lunch is always simple and easy coz Sunday is relaxing day. XD
Well, aunty has cooked the pork last night. So, I just need to cook another simple dish then it's done. Since there were only 3 of us, I decided to.....fry EGG!! Hahaha... As simple as ABC. :P So, that's our lunch.



Tik tok tik tok... Rrringgg... Dinner Time! My youngest cousin volunteered to cook baked potato with cheese. So, I just leave it to her to prepare everything since she doesn't like too many ppl in the kitchen. Again a simply dinner.Hehe.. Sometimes, simple is good.


Gotta boil the milk with potato 1st before putting into the oven.


It's ready to bake for 30 mins.



While she was busy cooking the dish, I heat up the left over pork and some roti jala. I also boil corn soup. I love corn soup especially creamy corn soup. XD
The baked potato tasted quite nice. My second cousin said that it's not so nice. Ya, I seconded her. The 1st time was nicer which was compliment of my eldest cousin. Nevermind. It's never to be afraid of failure. At least it's eatable. Hahaha... That's all for now.
